Winner! Winner! The Firm Recognized for Creativity in National Awards Program

Whether we’re taking the cake or bringing home the bacon, The Firm teams have been cooking up award-winning work this year.

The Firm was recently honored with two 2020 Hermes Creative Awards, recognizing publicity campaign efforts and a broadcast television media placement.

The team earned the platinum award for the development and execution of a PR campaign related to corporate volunteer events with Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSNV). Despite being scheduled back-to-back, the events, “Make a Difference Day” and “Republic Services National Neighborhood Promise,” garnered widespread media coverage across the valley.

The campaign raised awareness of RTSNV and its focus on safe and healthy housing for low-income seniors, veterans and individuals living with disabilities.

The Firm also received a gold award for broadcast placement on behalf of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (CCSN), highlighting the nonprofit’s Migration and Refugee Services. Upon coordinating the opportunity with a local news station, the assigned reporter disclosed their family utilized the Migration and Refugee Services when they arrived to Las Vegas more than 10 years ago.

The special report, titled “Becoming American,” seamlessly blended the personal stories from the identified refugee, teacher and reporter.

The Hermes Creative Awards is billed as being “one of the largest of its kind in the world,” attracting entries from Fortune 500 companies as well as globally renowned PR and advertising agencies.
