Sizzling Summer Playlist Starters: 3 Hits with a PR Flavor

Grab your sunscreen and favorite pool floatie. Summer is in full blast and it’s not the only thing heating up Las Vegas. The Firm wants to help you stay on your PR A game through the summer months. It turns out that some of this summer’s go-to jams also can have a rockin’, PR-centric message to ‘em, too. Here are a few of our favorites to put on repeat:

 

Deja Vu (Olivia Rodrigo) Feel like you’re in a rut you’ve already experienced? Work with your team to create new objectives and goals to freshen things up. Taking a new look at your goals will help your team align with where you are now and where you want to be. The start of summer marks the year’s halfway-ish point; where do you want the second half of the year to take you? Whether daily, weekly or monthly objectives, aligning with your team ultimately takes your business to the next level. Like Olivia Rodrigo belts, ask yourself if “you get deja vu?” If you are, it’s time to get some creative and unique goals/happenings/initiatives lined up for the months ahead.

 

As It Was (Harry Styles) When Harry Styles says, “you know it’s not the same as it was” he could be referring to the ever-changing world of PR. Think outside the box to explore new ideas and opportunities for clients. What strategies have you been using? Have they been successful? Take a closer look at your go to tactics. Are there any patterns in your work that are affecting your brand negatively? Positively? Find what’s working, and what isn’t, and focus on actions that will drive creativity and success. Don’t forget your brand is unique to you and there are folks (ahem, The Firm) that can help take things to the next level. Harry reminds us, “When everything gets in the way, seems you cannot be replaced.” Don’t let obstacles stop you; let them be stepping stones for a summer shift.
